The Coal River Valley Vineyard in South East Tasmania has a steady track record of producing award winning, elegant, true cool climate wines. Located less than 20 minutes drive from the Hobart waterfront, the vineyard is a family-run business with a strong focus on sustainability. The Cellar Door is perched just above the Old Block, with sweeping views of the Coal River Valley, Pittwater and Barilla Bay. It is open for wine tastings and sales Wednesday to Sunday from 11am to 5pm from October to March, as well as private functions for up to 100 people. All functions are catered by renowned Tasmanian chef Paul Foreman from Paul Foreman Catering.
