Melbourne Food Tours takes you to the best food stores in South Melbourne, Prahran, South Yarra and Fitzroy. The day begins with a visit to Let Them Eat Cake in South Melbourne where pastry chef Chris Montobello displays his incredible edible creations. Then it's off to explore the streets of South Melbourne and make a stop at Peter Watsons. Here we'll be introduced to the amazing world of spices, spice blends and traditional hand made preserves. A tasting and visit not to be missed.
We'll journey to Prahran next for a tutored olive tasting at the wonderful Oliveria store. Next up on our tour is the Prahran Market where we'll visit the best stallholders for tastings including freshly opened oysters, Spanish jamon, farmhouse cheeses and Yarra Valley Pasta delights. The tour also includes Chinese yum cha lunch at Oriental Tea House on Chapel Street.
A quick stroll along fashionable Chapel Street will bring us to our next stop - the wonderful Ganache Chocolate Lounge. Here chocolatier Arno Backes will introduce us to his incredible hand-made chocolate creations. Our final destination is for gelati at the award-winning Jock's Ice Cream store in Albert Park.

A four hour version is also available with less stops. This tour requires a minimum of 12 participants at a cost of $129.00 pp. There is a surcharge for Saturday bus tours - price on application.
