Wild Cattle Creek Restaurant is a flexible venue space, which lends itself perfectly to wedding celebrations. Set amongst 19 acres of landscaped grounds and vineyard, the property houses cottage gardens, as well as a stylish gazebo and verandah. The warm and tranquil atmosphere and picturesque setting is perfect for both intimate and large celebrations.

FUNCTION DETAILS
Wild Cattle Creek caters for all types of functions from corporate lunches, weddings and engagement parties to private dining events. A fully catered business function can be hosted on site for up to 50 seated delegates or 150 standing guests, in a comfortable working environment. Half-day and full-day meeting menu packages are available and AV equipment can be hired. The Cellar Door can be used for smaller group functions and private dining with a capacity for 20 seated guests and 35 standing guests.

WEDDINGS
With on-site accommodation for up to 32 guests, Wild Cattle Creek is an ideal weekend wedding venue. Stay the night before and enjoy a pampering session with the girls, or a casual brunch gathering the day after. Wedding ceremonies can be held in the perfectly located gazebo, which overlooks the lotus filled pond and the vineyards, under the gum trees by the dam, on the lawn, or in the historic homestead's cottage gardens. For wedding receptions, 130 guests can be accommodated for a sit down occasion, and up to 200 for a cocktail function, allowing for a dance floor area. The Chardonnay Room is available for smaller functions of up to 70 guests for a sit down meal or 100 for a cocktail party. There is a choice of bronze, silver and gold wedding packages for both lunch and evening receptions, and wedding planner services are also available.




FOOD & BEVERAGE
From a cocktail party to a casual grazing lunch or a five course degustation dinner, Wild Cattle Creek can tailor a menu package to suit your specific needs. Menus specialise in Yarra Valley produce combined with Australian bush food to create eclectic modern Australian dishes using the freshest seasonal ingredients. The menu is complimented by estate wines and an extensive selection of Yarra Valley boutique wines. For cocktail functions guests will be treated to a diverse selection of hot and cold canapés such as duck confit and gruyere croquettes with sweet onion chutney or cherry tomatoes stuffed with whipped feta and basil jelly with berry crumble tarts as an option for a sweet treat. The alternate placement menu features beautiful meals like smoked salmon crab and herb pillow on avocado puree with salmon caviar for entrée and a twice cooked herb crusted lamb on skordalia for main course. Yarra Valley grazing platters served in a buffet-to-table style also offer an equally delectable selection of innovative dishes.

ACCOMODATION
Luxury bed and breakfast accommodation is available at the nearby Wallace House Historic Homestead in either the merlot cottage or the bridal suite. The suite provides an ideal romantic setting for wedding couples, whilst the cottage is a private and beautifully furnished space, which offers spacious self-contained accommodation. The modern Lotus and Vineyard Villas overlook the lotus pond or vineyard and are perfect for a quick getaway or stay to enjoy the environs of the Yarra Valley.
