Tokar Estate is owned and run by the Tokar family, and their personal passion for the Estate is never more apparent than in their commitment to creating beautiful customised events. On top of the magnificent landscape, the seasonally changing restaurant menu offers an impressive array of Mediterranean inspired dishes. The Tokar Estate Cellar Door has nine wines available for tasting and sales.


FUNCTION DETAILS
Tokar Estate offers a private and peaceful atmosphere for functions of up to 130 people for cocktails, and 84 for sit down meals. They have happily hosted occasions ranging from christenings to Christmas parties and specialise in creating tailor-made functions in close consultation with the client, whether the event is corporate or social. With cosy interiors, tranquil gardens and gorgeous views, Tokar offers the ultimate environment in which to unwind. To help you relax even more, Tokar Estate aims to design function packages that guarantee value for money, without compromising on the calibre of the location or quality of the catering. A PA system is available for your convenience.


WEDDINGS
Considering the stunning location it is not surprising that Tokar Estate is a popular choice for weddings. There are a wide range of packages to choose from, and menus are designed in close consultation with the client to suit personal tastes. Ceremonies can be held in the Estate’s pretty garden or vineyard, with an indoor option if the weather is inclement. There are two main packages for wedding receptions. Cocktail parties include the option of hot and cold canapés, fresh seafood platters, cheese and antipasto and a generous selection of wine and beverages. The A La Carte Reception can be two or three courses for up to 84 guests.


FOOD & BEVERAGE
The Tokar Estate Yarra Valley Winery Restaurant serves up sophisticated dishes with strong Italian and Spanish influences cooked with gusto. Making the most of the region’s liberal supply of local produce, the chefs often adjust the menu to make sure the freshest seasonal ingredients are put centre stage. The décor of the restaurant is refreshingly clean and simple yet cosy, with the opportunity for slow breezy lunches on the outdoor deck during summer.


The Yarra Valley’s cool climate, combined with restricted yields from the vineyard allows Tokar Estate to produce premium wines of first-class quality which display a lingering palate and fabulous aromas. Their “Signature wine” is the 2006 Tempranillo - a superb Spanish varietals. Tokar Estate is first vineyard in the Yarra Valley to produce wine from this variety.
