Sugar Lounge is happy to tailor events packages to individual needs, sourcing special extras such as room styling, live DJ entertainment and even magicians. Partygoers may even wish to create an arrival cocktail for guests to get conversation flowing right from the start.

BEACH BAR- The daytime café-cum-cocktail lounge by night can seat 16 guests for a dinner party and 40 for a standing cocktail event.

OCEAN ROOM- Sophisticated décor and sweeping beach views dominate the upstairs terrace space, which can host a sit-down function for 80 guests and a cocktail party for 200.

FUNCTION SUITE- For added privacy, opt for this intimate function area when planning a seated event for 20 guests or a standing soiree for 80.

GRAND BALLROOM- Partygoers and DJ’s flock to the dedicated nightclub space, which is available for exclusive hire for cocktail parties of up to 200 guests.

Expertly mixed drinks are the go at Sugar Lounge, with a cocktail list designed by by award winning bartender and owner Kieran Bailey. Get your caffeine fix with the Colombian – coffee bean-infused rum shaken with coffee liqueur, espresso and vanilla sugar – or go retro with a flaming tiki number like the sweet ‘n’ sour Zombie with rum and absinthe. Fresh, tasty meals are the focus of the kitchen team. Choose from share plates, like crab cakes with chilli jam, or choose a main meal such as tropical grilled king prawn salad with mango, chilli, coriander, bean sprouts and peanuts. Functions cover both opulent canapé menus and banquet dinners, including cocktail items such as sundried beef with kaffir lime leaf and spicy dipping sauce.
