The Leeuwin II is Western Australia's own Tall Ship, a 3-masted barquentine with over 810 square metres of sail and an overall length of 55 metres. This beautiful ship provides a breathtaking backdrop to any event or activity, and has pioneered a fun and productive program to promote teamwork and group responsibility. This is a remarkable function venue for anyone looking for an unforgettable event location or a creative way to build team morale.


FUNCTION DETAILS

The Leeuwin II specializes in unique events and functions. Catering for up to 135 passengers, this epic venue offers a plethora of function options designed to meet the needs of any group, from corporate team building days to school excursions. Once on board, you have the option of participating in sailing activities, or relaxing while the experienced crew takes care of everything.


The Leeuwin II has hosted Christmas parties, weddings, client functions, product launches and birthday celebrations. The ship is also a fantastic choice for team building activities and corporate charters. There are a wide range of sailing options are available, from 3 hour short sails to 7 day/6 night voyages. You can reserve exclusive use of the ship, otherwise there are public voyages that run between October and April. If you don’t want to go sailing at all the ship is also available for alongside functions at Fremantle Port.


CORPORATE INCENTIVES AND ACTIVITIES

Guests have the rare opportunity to take part in ship activities such as hauling lines, climbing the mast and the bow. The group works with the crew to sail the ship, and each person is expected to take on individual responsibilities.


ACCOMMODATION

The Leeuwin II has overnight accommodation for up to 40 passengers. The berths sleep six or eight people, and provide basic, yet comfortable accommodation.


FOOD AND BEVERAGES

Catering is included in the charter fee and those considering hosting an event should contact venue for up-to-date menu choices. Alternatively you can bring your own caterer. Alcohol is BYO.
