FUNCTIONS
Rydges Lakeside is home to Canberra's largest hotel conference venues. The dedicated conference and banquet floor in the hotel comprises of 8 convention rooms with a capacity of 1500 in the spectacular ballroom. All rooms have natural light and on site support in terms of function management and Audio Visual requirements.

Rydges' Great Lakes Ballroom can host Conferences for up to 1500 Delegates and Banquets and Weddings for up to 800 guests. Lake Superior, Lake Huron and Lake Michigan giving total flexibility for any type of event. Rydges' conference floor also has 5 smaller function rooms providing exceptional facilities for smaller meetings and syndicates. In addition, the Executive Lounge on the ground floor and Burley Griffin Reception Centre on the 15th floor provide two separate function rooms, catering for medium sized meetings, banquets and weddings.

LOCANDA ITALIAN STEAKHOUSE
Rydges Lakeside's Restaurant Locanda Italian Steakhouse is open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Chef Paolo creates modern Italian dishes along with a vast range of delicious meat, poultry and seafood dishes in a contemporary and relaxed setting. In fitting with the restaurant’s international influence, Locanda features a traditional antipasta station and a mozzarella bar which promise to add to the unique and fun dining experience.

Locanda has one of Canberra’s largest selections of wines with a variety of local ACT and NSW wines included on the wine list, along with an international mix from Italy. A cocktail and bar menu is also available.
