Expansive white interiors, wall-mounted accent lighting and polished timber floorboards are the living blank canvas on which Obscura Gallery showcases its art. Monthly rotations of contemporary photography create the arty backdrop to stylish events in the venue’s gallery space, while additional area is available upstairs on the balcony. Host a lavish seated dinner or sophisticated cocktail reception surrounded by the best of Australian and international photographic art.

FUNCTION DETAILS
The Gallery can host 100 guests for a seated dinner or 300 at a cocktail style event in the downstairs gallery area. The balcony area upstairs is also available for hire for up to 100 guests standing, where smoking is also permitted. For cocktail functions the venue has ottomans and bar stools kept on site, plus buffet, cocktail and smaller tables. The space is air conditioned and features a digital projector and sound system for presentations, and free parking spaces are also available on site to visitors.

FOOD & BEVERAGE
The Gallery can arrange all catering needs and has packages available to suit varying times of day and functions styles. Host a morning tea in the arty space, serving up the likes of savoury pancakes with smoked salmon and avocado and banana bread with fresh sliced banana and maple syrup to hungry guests. Lunch options are equally scrumptious, including gourmet sandwich and fresh fruit platters. For evening cocktail events, the canapé menu features a range of room temperature and warm items such as chicken teriyaki twists with wasabi mayonnaise and lamb koftas with tzatsiki dipping sauce, while sweet tooths are satisfied with mini lemon tarts and profiteroles with strawberries.
