After a complete renovation, Leonda By The Yarra now boasts stunning contemporary interiors to complement their tailor-made event packages and dedicated events team. One of the venue’s most endearing features is its location by the Yarra River, which encourages guests to relax and feel a sense of escape from the city. Leonda’s event spaces allow for creative layouts, and provide a stunning backdrop for any event, including press launches, premieres, ceremonies, conferences and intimate meetings. Leonda’s function rooms, gardens and courtyard exude a light, airy atmosphere that is a welcome accompaniment for any special event.

FUNCTION DETAILS
Leonda’s Ballroom is an expansive pillar-free space with grand framed windows that beautifully capture images of the Yarra River outside. Suitable for extravagant cocktail parties of up to 1000 guests and dinner dance functions of up to 460, this room is a gorgeous choice for a dazzling wedding reception or corporate gala. The Ballroom can hold up to 580 guests for a banquet style dinner with no dance floor. Located adjacent to the Ballroom, the Marble Bar area is designed for stylish pre-drinks, and also provides extra seating space where necessary. The Garden Room is a lush haven of garden and river views, complemented by a private courtyard edged by peppercorn trees. This more intimate function room is charming both outside and in, holding up to 130 for dinner and dancing (165 for dinner alone) and 275 for cocktails. These rooms are appropriate for social celebrations and business events, with the Leonda team happy to adjust the room aesthetic and layout to your requirements.

Leonda By The Yarra provides ample complimentary parking, private bar facilities and PA equipment. Extras include a bridal suite, private jetty, lectern for speeches and staging facilities. Conferences and corporate events are supported by an extensive range of AV and IT facilities on request.

Menu packages cover a huge array of choices over a cross section of culinary traditions including Middle Eastern, Mediterranean and Modern Australian. Leonda has a superb team of Australian and International chefs ready to collaborate on a menu that perfectly suits your event. One popular choice is themed food stations. For particular Asian cuisines and kosher catering, Leonda is happy to coordinate external caterers.
