FUNCTION DETAILS
One of the best parts of Il Gambero on the Park’s rejuvenated site is the inclusion of a fantastic function space. Seating up to 120 guests, and available for cocktail events for up to 300 people, the large private dining room upstairs is an ideal location for a lively celebration hosted with a generous dash of Italian flair. There is a spacious balcony area overlooking Lygon St Park, providing fresh air and pleasant views. The ceiling of the function room is made of glass, and can be retracted if the weather goes your way, so you and your guests have the option of enjoying pizza and vino beneath the stars or sunshine.

FOOD AND BEVERAGES
Il Gambero on the Park is already re-establishing a reputation as one of Melbourne’s tastiest pizzerias. This time, the restaurant has reached new heights, baking their pizza in a specially imported stone pizza oven from Italy, which is the first of its kind in Australia. Pizzas start from $10.40 for a small margherita and reach $21.90 for large gourmet pizzas such as the prosciutto special with spinach, prosciutto, olives, semi dried tomatoes and shaved parmesan. The lengthy menu covers other Italian classics including pasta, seafood, steak and risotto. All of these options can be included in a banquet menu, which are individually co-ordinated for each function. Il Gambero on the Park also operates as a take-away restaurant.
