LOCATION

Hayman Island is located 33 kilometres east of the Queensland coast, close to the Great Barrier Reef in the Whitsunday Island area. The island is easily accessible via Great Barrier Reef Airport on Hamilton Island, where Hayman's launches, seaplanes and helicopters connect with all incoming and outgoing commercial flights.

FUNCTION DETAILS



ENTERTAINMENT CENTRE- The Entertainment Centre is ideal for large seminar-style meetings and offers a fully-equipped stage, high ceiling, excellent audio visual facilities, natural light and views over Hayman Beach. The Entertainment Centre can accommodate up to 300 guests theatre-style, and is a split-level building that can be sub-divided into the Upper Level for 150 people (theatre) and the Lower Level for 140 people (theatre).


CONFERENCE CENTRE- The Conference Centre has a large central meeting room and offers excellent audio-visual facilities. It seats up to 120 persons theatre-style and is divisible into three breakout rooms, each accommodating 20 persons.


PLANTERS- Planters is centrally located in the resort and offers abundant natural light. This venue has a purpose-built bar and is ideal for use as a corporate ‘breakout’ room, or dinner venue for up to 90 guests seated.


THE BOARDROOM- The Boardroom is suitable for executive meetings or focus groups of up to 12 people, offering garden views proximirt to the business executive facilities.


WEDDING CEREMONIES & RECEPTIONS


STELLA MARIS CHAPEL- Nestled in the hills of the island, beautiful Stella Maris Chapel enjoys lush, tropical surrounds and breathtaking vistas of the resort, Whitsunday Passage and neighbouring islands. This stunning outlook, complemented by the chapel's rich Queensland timbers, glass walls and expansive veranda, offers a magnificent setting for ceremonies of up to 40 guests.


THE FORMAL GARDEN- Hayman’s famous avenue of Phoenix palms and fountains, The Formal Garden is a magnificent and popular choice for ceremonies.


HAYMAN BEACH AND REEF- For a beautiful Hayman wedding experience, the pristine sands of Hayman Beach, fronting the sparkling Coral Sea, provide the perfect backdrop. Couples can also choose to conduct their ceremony aboard one of the resort's white luxury launches or yachts for a truly unique ceremony experience amidst crystal clear Whitsunday waters.


LA FONTAINE- Beautiful La Fontaine is available for private bookings, offering an elegant environment for wedding celebrations. A sense of grand occasion is created by a blend of soft and rich tones, ambient lighting amid Louis XVI furnishings, Waterford crystal chandeliers and a magnificent central limestone fountain. The Private Dining Room seats14 and is also available for exclusive use.
