The Founders Room: The largest venue at 300 sqm is located adjacent to the elegant Château Élan Destination Spa. With a modern, elegant interior, the Founders Room can accommodate 190 guests for a seated dinner function or 330 for cocktails and enjoys views over The Vintage Golf Course. Founders I and Founders II offer 2 smaller versatile spaces separated by an air-wall for 100 and 90 seated guests respectively.
Barrington Room: Sitting beside the Club House at the top of The Vintage Golf Course, the Barrington Room has a chic interior enjoying views over the manicured 18th green and valley beyond. It can accommodate up to 110 guests for a seated function and 200 for a cocktail event.
Barrington Board Rooms: Sitting beside the Club House at the top of The Vintage Golf Course, the Barrington Board Rooms offer two intimate modern boardrooms for 10 and 16 guests respectively. Wireless internet and catering are available.
Carriage House: The sandstone of the Carriage House was rescued from a property in the Hunter Valley built in 1834 by convict labour. This unique venue offers an exclusive facility for executive retreats and strategy planning meetings. Suitable for 60 guests for dinner and 80 for a cocktail style function.
WEDDINGS
There are six wedding venues on site, which make use of the fabulous Hunter scenery for your special day. The Fairway is the perfect outdoor venue to conduct a ceremony featuring manicured green laws, gums trees, and the surrounding valleys, with the nearby Barrington and Founders Rooms for receptions. The Summerhouse, a gently sloping amphitheatre near the 10th tee is also an idyllic spot. Château Elan offers menu, beverage and special spa and vintage garden packages that cater to every taste, lifestyle and need.
FOOD & BEVERAGE
Executive Chef Tony Maher heads up the Château Élan kitchens, designing menus to bring the very best of Australian produce and local wines to your table. There are a range of menu packages to suit sit-down dinners, corporate lunches and canapé events. Dine on the likes of seafood duo calamari ceviche and crab cake with aioli for entrée or tender roasted lamb loin with a salad of fennel, radish and Mache lettuce, with a pine nut dressing. Main course features carefully composed dishes of pan roast salmon with saffron, prawn and chorizo risotto, as well as grilled sirloin steak, with herb roasted kipfler potatoes, peppercorn-brandy glaze, and buttered spinach. The prettily presented dessert selections are equally tantalizing, and the chocolate mocha tart with espresso dates and latté cream is a popular choice. Tony is also a true wine connoisseur, and has designed all his dishes to perfectly complement selected Legends Grill wines.
