Byblos’ lavish fit-out includes hand made artefacts commissioned from artisans in Lebanon, as well as a dining room that can accommodate up to 280 guests. The luxurious lounge and bar area is perfect for relaxed cocktail-style functions, while the lavish, timber-clad dining room is suitable for sit-down lunches or dinners, which can seat up to 280. A wide range of events packages is available from the restaurant’s experienced hospitality staff.

Upper Terrace- can be divided into 3 separate sections and is the ideal setting for an intimate cocktail-style gathering or a stylish celebration with friends. The space features exquisite chandeliers, plush velvet lounges and soft silk curtains. The

Entire Upper Terrace- Comfortably accommodates up to 110 guests. Features a private cocktail bar, the Harem Lounge and the Clicquot Room.

The Harem Lounge- Comfortably accommodates up to 30 guests. Features lounge seating, hand made chandeliers and floor to ceiling views of the Yarra River.

The Clicquot Room- The pinnacle of luxury and privacy. Comfortably seats 25 guests in complete seclusion.

The Balcony- Comfortably seats 40 guests. Combines stool and booth seating with an amazing view to the city and the Yarra River.

The Dining Room- Suitable for sit-down dining functions up to 100 guests.

Private Dining- available for up to 35 guests.

FOOD & BEVERAGE
French-trained, Lebanese chef Nino Kanaan brings an expert understanding of the composition of spice, flavour and texture to the Byblos menu. The Byblos dining menu is built upon a foundation of classic, traditional Mediterranean recipes and culinary techniques, with sumac, coriander, chilli, cumin, sesame and fresh herbs used liberally for stunning effect.

Canape packages start from $23 per person, including items such as home-made pastries with a delicious lamb and pine nut filling and marinated dory fillet skewers grilled with onion and capsicum. ‘Mezza’ banquets are also feature starters of freshly made tabouleh and hummus, followed by felafel and ‘samake harra’, a succulent grilled dory served with a tomato, onion, red pepper, and coriander salsa.

The drinks menu features an extensive wine list that boasts both new and old world styles, with a dedicated sommelier on hand to match beverages with meal selections. The cocktail bar makes all syrups, glazes and reductions in house, which guests can sample in the likes of the glamorous Violet Martini, exotic Phoenician Sunset and delicious Burnt Honey Daiquiri.
