Almustafa has recreated the atmosphere that proved popular with the original restaurant in Surry Hills: highlights such as the pillow-room, bellydancers and even the same grandmothers that arrive every day to personally stuff the vine leaves! After dinner retire to the upstairs room, lay back on cushions and take in the belly dancing entertainment.

Owners Ian and Salwa run this very successful restaurant known throughout Sydney for its fabulous Middle Eastern food, its party atmosphere and entertainment. Almustafa is housed in a cosy sandstone terrace with a garden room, a first floor cushion room for up to 100 people plus a balcony for smokers. The draped tent ceilings, placed exotic fabrics round the newly painted walls, and piled the counters high with argileh (shisha) piped and large glass jars of pickles. Almustafa can cater for functions on the weekends for 150 to 200 diners: banquet menus starting at $38 a head.
