3 Station Pier- New Management!
Port Melbourne's beautiful waterfront venue 3 Station Pier now has a new restaurant.
Sam Zeneldin and the new management are proud to introduce Nautical Restaurant & Lounge to Melburnians.
Renowned restaurateur Sam Zeneldin (formerly of Street Café and Café Neon) has returned to the helm of this establishment, collaborating with Head Chef Martin Bainbridge in executing classic European style cuisine that boasts freshness, quality and quantity at reasonable prices that will have locals flocking.
Set against the beautiful backdrop of Melbourne's Port Phillip Bay, Nautical at 3 Station Pier offers an exceptional dining experience, with floor to ceiling windows, multiple lounges and dining areas that can be transformed for private dinner parties, indoors or al fresco.
With seafood and steak a specialty, the mouthwatering new menu at Nautical features hearty fare as well as some lighter dishes for the coming spring, including whole barramundi with seafood and served with sweet potato chips and wilted spinach ($33); slow cooked lamb shanks, roasted root vegetables and mash with a rosemary and mint sauce ($33); a seafood tower of king prawns, scallops, oysters, calamari, Moreton Bay bugs, whiting and rock lobster with hand cut chips and dipping sauces (minimum two people @ $60 pp), and four cuts of steak, char grilled and served with roasted bone marrow, mash and a side of red wine jus or mushroom sauce($33-$37).
Says Sam, "I am very excited about re-positioning the restaurant at 3 Station Pier as a destination for locals, foodies and tourists.
"Quality and quantity are important to me, and I've been working closely with Martin to create a menu of classic dishes with decent portions and reasonable prices."
Nautical also boasts an excellent beverage list, with local and imported wines and classic cocktails.
