Australia's only beachside observation deck, located in the heart of one of the world's favourite holiday hot spots has been transformed from a room with a view to an exciting and educational tourism experience to showcase the destination.
SkyPoint Observation Deck is a celebration of the Gold Coast's history, culture and tourism treasures. The attraction tells the Gold Coast story via glass window overlays, foot level signs, informative feature zones, static displays and video presentations that promote the lifestyle and the entire spectrum of experiences available here on the coast.
Located 230m above the ground, SkyPoint Observation Deck features:
- one of the fastest elevators in the world taking you from ground to Level
77 in just 42.7 seconds;
- a museum in the sky providing a wealth of facts and information to plan the ultimate Gold Coast adventure;
- SkyPoint Weather Station;
- Surf Lifesaving Queensland display and vision;
- Surf World showcasing our unique and long-term affair with the sport;
- SkyPoint theatrette
SkyPoint will also will also relaunch Level 78 as the highest and most unique meetings and events destination on the Gold Coast with versatile and inspirational new options to take the experience sky high.
SkyPoint Observation Deck is open from 9am to 9pm Sunday to Thursday and 9am to midnight every Friday and Saturday night.
